DR.Robert ShampoDVM “Doc Bob”
I was born and raised in Marinette WI, however a military career took me around the world for many years.
My decision to become a veterinarian came at a very young age. I was in the 1st grade at the time and my focus and path were determined and set. After taking advantage of Army military educational benefits I attended Veterinary school at UW Madison, graduating in 1994. Upon finishing my education I returned to the military and completed a medical career as an Officer in the US Air Force. My love for animals made my military retirement goals easy, Veterinary Medicine.
After retiring from the military I spent 3 years honing my clinical skills and learning the latest science for the best possible veterinary care at a respected full service animal hospital in Missoula, MT.
In July 2011 it was time to return home to Wisconsin to be near my family. I am the proud father of two boys, Ryan and Austen, and relocating to Cudahy brings me close to them.
I purchased the Cudahy Veterinary Clinic in April 2012 to bring the latest techonology in Veterinary care home and to grow Cudahy Veterinary Clinic into a full service hospital. The local community has been very welcoming to me and I look forward to providing outstanding care to you and your pets!

I was born in Uruguay, small beautiful country in South America, I have two daughters and a son, also
two grandchildren, two lovely cat’s and a dog. In Uruguay I was a Professor of Pathology and Clinic of
poultry production, also Control and Inspections of animal products, Science and technology of meat
production in the University of Uruguay. In 2015 I decided to move to this wonderful city of Milwaukee
and since then also change my professional interest from food safety, quality and control to working with
pets as a technician.
In Milwaukee I started working as a Technician at an emergency center but later in June 2017 started
work at Cudahy Veterinary Clinic as a Technician.
It was one of the best decision I made, working in the field I love, with a great team and also have the
opportunity to learn every day helping others with their most loving pets(family) it feels awesome!!!
