    Robert Shampo
    DVM “Doc Bob”

I was born and raised in Marinette WI, however, a military career took me around the world for many years.

My decision to become a veterinarian came at a very young age. I was in the 1st grade at the time and my focus and path were determined and set. After taking advantage of Army military educational benefits I attended Veterinary school at UW Madison, graduating in 1994. Upon finishing my education I returned to the military and completed a medical career as an Officer in the US Air Force. My love for animals made my military retirement goals easy, Veterinary Medicine.

After retiring from the military I spent 3 years honing my clinical skills and learning the latest science for the best possible veterinary care at a respected full-service animal clinic in Missoula, MT.

In July 2011 it was time to return home to Wisconsin to be near my family. I am the proud father of two boys, Ryan and Austen, and relocating to Cudahy brings me close to them.

I purchased the Cudahy Veterinary Clinic in April 2012 to bring the latest technology in Veterinary care homes and to grow Cudahy Veterinary into a full-service clinic. The local community has been very welcoming to me and I look forward to providing outstanding care to you and your pets!
